Oppo Launches R15 Duo Smartphones in China

Selfie expert and leader, OPPO launching R15 and R15 dream mirror edition smartphones soon in its hometown. The company surprised everyone as they claimed that both the smartphones would be announced on 31st March.

OPPO R15 and R15 dream mirror will be added in upcoming R series smartphones that runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Both the smartphones feature a notch at the top but the R15’s notch is not as wide as it could have been which includes earpiece, and sensors and front camera.

Unlike the preceding R series, both smartphones were offering a metal unibody build and its display highlights smartphone. Duo sports full-screen OLED with 6.28 inches diagonally and supporting 1080 x 2280 FHD+ resolution.

The duo brings AI Intelligent Scene Recognition technology that is touted to recognize 16 scenes along with 120 multi-scene combinations. Both the smartphones have the same design with a metal frame and have dual rear camera setups. Both the smartphones housing 6GB RAM with 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card.

R15 will fall off with 3,450mAh battery, and its Dream Mirror partner with 3,400mAh limit. The handsets are having the help for VOOC streak charge that will give clients a 2-hour talk time. Other features of Duo include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. R15 available in three variants such as purple, red and white and priced at Rs. 33,721 whereas R15 Dream Mirror is priced at Rs. 35,766. Both the smartphone will be going on sale starting April 1 in China.
