A former Disney Channel star is joining the White House press team. Caroline Sunshine ditched the entertainment industry to become a press assistant in the White House.
22-year-old Caroline Sunshine landed a gig after finishing internship at the White House. Caroline Sunshine starrer as Tinka Hessenheffer in “Shake it Up”. Sunshine acted alongside Zendaya and Bella Thorne in the show. Caroline now working for US president Trump as a press assistant. Caroline was most recently a White House intern and established her career apart from the entertainment industry. She applied for the internship through White House’s portal.
A White House spokeswoman, Lindsay Walters said, “Caroline Sunshine was a White House intern. In college, she was involved with the American Enterprise Institute and an active member of her school’s Model United Nations team.” Further, Lindsay added, “Prior to her internship at the White House, Caroline interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee, and the California Republican Party.”
US president Trump hired other staff with cable television backgrounds; CNBC host Larry Kudlow hired as head of the White House National Economic Council and so on.
Former Disney star has a significant following on social media with over 200,000 followers on Instagram alone on which she shares her daily routine along with her work experience.
