The San Bruno police officers said that at least three people injured, and one killed after YouTube shooting and they added the female suspect dead of an apparent suicide. The officers have named the suspect as Nasim Aghdam and the team still investigating a motive.
In recent years, it was another massive shooting in the United States. Prior to this, approximately 17 people at a Florida high school has led to calls for tighter curbs on gun ownership.
Ed Barberini, the San Bruno police chief said that police car responding to 911 calls from tech campus and neighbouring building outside also put on lockdown. Ed did not disclose any other information about the incident, but he said that the attack was carried out with a handgun.
Three people injured badly and were transported to local hospitals. The source’s information stated that a 36-year-old man in critical condition and a 32-year-old woman in serious condition.
The San Bruno police said that the women suspect moved toward an outside porch and feasting yard on the grounds around noon and started to flame before entering the building.
One of the Product Manager at YouTube, Todd Sherman tweeted, “I looked down and saw blood drips on the floor and stairs.” Police officers moving forward and clearing the building and searching each employee.
The news of the shooting spread over social media as one of the YouTube employee posted about barricading themselves inside rooms as the police department arrived at the scene.
Us President Donald Trump had been briefed about the incident. Trump tweeted, “Was just briefed on the shooting at YouTube’s HQ in San Bruno, California. Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody involved. Thank you to our phenomenal Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders that are currently on the scene.”
